This t-shirt has been created exclusively by The MCA Store in conjunction with artist Cerith Wyn Evans to celebrate his exhibition, Cerith Wyn Evans .... in light of the visible, showing at the MCA (until 19 October 2025).  Its white-on-white text is deliberately understated - subtle at first glance, then shifting into focus as it catches the light. This quiet transformation echoes Wyn Evans’ engagement with the perceptual and poetic potential of light, inviting a slower, more contemplative way of looking.

About the artist:
Cerith Wyn Evans considers the relationships between language and space, time and perception, thought and meaning. Incorporating a wide range of media and informed by his abiding interests in architecture, music and the history of ideas, his work is characterised by formal precision and developed in relation to a particular exhibition site. Based in London, Wyn Evans has exhibited widely internationally, including recent surveys at the Centre Pompidou-Metz, France (2023) and Pirelli HangarBicocca, Italy (2019).
