First produced way back in 1911, the Kaweco Sport is among the earliest fountain pen designs still in use today. It features?a luxe?high-quality aluminium body which gives the pen a finely-judged heft and ensures it will age beautifully, developing a patina unique to each pen.

The hand-polished barrel feels smooth and light, with a secure screw cap and a stainless steel, iridium-tipped nib made by the Bock family of Heidelberg, Germany. The iridium tip protects the nib from abrasion by contact with paper, which is part of why Kaweco nibs are famous for their consistency, quality and durability.

Kaweco was founded in 1883, in a small store near the University of Heidelberg, Germany. With a legacy spanning more than a century, Kaweco?s range of pens, pencils and inks blend tradition with innovation to create premier writing instruments with the craft needed to become a family heirloom, to be passed down through the generations.
