Using a gentle pallet of earth tones and blues Bianca Gardiner-Dodd describes the migration patterns of her ancestors that created a network of Aboriginal culture across Australia. Traditional migration patterns were age old, defined by various landmarks and natural resources. These migration patterns worked in harmony with the seasons and the natural environment.
These beautiful, unique textiles are a cross-cultural collaboration combining Aboriginal designs and traditional Kashmiri rug-making techniques. Chain stitched, using hand dyed wool, each is a completely handmade piece.
