The Girl Who Made Rainbows
The Girl Who Made Rainbows is the story of a girl in the city, who loves rainbows and laments that the lack of rain has removed them from her world. Inspired by the colour all around her - of objects, of animals, of street art - she creates her own versions of rainbows, in doing so making the sky cry with happiness, bringing back the rainbows. The book features illustration by Robyn Chiles super-imposed over striking photographs of familiar inner-western Sydney settings taken by Rachel Williams and narrative by Peter Warrington.21cm x 14cm
