Tea Towel Sirius Building

Hailing from Sydney's inner-west, Fresh TeaTowels aptly named 'Inner-West Series', features illustrations of architectural icons from the local neighbourhood. This special edition design features Sydney's iconic Sirius Building. Located in Cumberland Street, The Rocks and designed in 1978-1979 by architect Tao Gofers, the building is a prominent example of Brutalist architecture as applied to public housing in Australia. Profits from the sale of this tea towel are donated to the Save Our Sirius campaign fighting for heritage listing of this landmark.

Each tea towel is locally printed using environmentally friendly water-based inks on 100% organic cotton tea towels.
