Designed by Melbourne label Third Drawer Down in collaboration with artist David Shrigley this 100% linen tea towel is functional, fashionable and looks great in a frame.
'Large Fancy Room Full of Crap' was to be the title of the artist's first retrospective show at the Hayward Gallery in London until it was changed to 'Brain Activity.' Originally a limited edition, this design has been rereleased in a new colour wave as an open edition.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: David Shrigley is a Scottish artist who has come to prominence through his drawings, publications and sculptural works. His drawings have a kind of throwaway beauty peopled as they are with monster children, idiots, aliens, bad parents and full of twisted lists and exchanges. His artist’s books act as an index of his angst about modern living, his disappointments and his cynicism.
