Years in the making, Toronto-based artist Kristan Horton's doubly legendary "Dr. Strangelove Dr. Strangelove" takes aim at Stanley Kubrick's original 1964 film, Dr. Strangelove. With the obsessive meticulousness of the master himself, Horton has recreated each scene with banal objects at hand in his studio, deflating what is exaggerated in Kubrick's black comedy. Winner of the 2008 Ontario Association of Art Galleries Design Award: Hardcover Book. Designed by Bryan Gee. Coinciding with Black Dog Publishing's upcoming title, Kristan Horton, to be released April 2015.
