Cushion cover | Keturah Zimran | 40cm | light blue, deep blue & white on black

This stunning cushion cover is entirely handmade and is a piece of functional art for your space. The artwork Puli Puli by Keturah Nangala Zimran has been intricately hand chainstitched onto the cushion using hand dyed wool. Keturah was born in Haasts Bluff, NT in 1978. Coming from a lineage of established artists, Keturah began painting seriously in 2005 and is a member of Ikuntji Artists. Developing her own distinctive and bold style, she is fast becoming renowned both nationally and internationally.  Most notably, her work is now a part of the Parliament House Collection and has been a finalist in numerous art awards including the 2019 Vincent Lingiari Award. In Puli Puli Keturah depicts the natural rock formations (puli) found in and around Haasts Bluff. The ancient Australian landscape with its eroded forms and organic shapes provides motivation for Keturah’s art.
