David Shrigley was born in Macclesfield in 1968 and studied at Glasgow School of Art. He has worked as a sculptor, photographer and 'environment artist' and, most famously, as a cartoonist and illustrator. For almost 2 decades he has produced a ceaseless stream of ideas, observations, jokes and strange insights in the form of left-field drawings that have appeared in newspapers, galleries, magazines and books - just like bestseller which takes you on a journey through the human mind in all it's absurdity!
